Avaya IP Office Essential Edition License Release 8.0 (267786)
In Release 8.0 IP Office Basic Edition Basic Edition Partner Mode and Basic Edition Norstar Mode do not require licensing. If users try to upgrade these applications to Essential Edition, they will now require the Essential Edition license to be applied to the system. The Avaya IP Office Essential Edition License enables mobile twinning as well as one-X Mobile Essential client for all users and provides two Remote Worker seats. VPN connectivity is provided to the IP Office system via the remote worker feature.
In order for Preferred Edition to work the user must have the pre-requisite Essential Edition first. New users who attempt to install this version will be prompt with a warning that Essential Edition is required.
